This category is for athletes who are part of a high performance program and who need financial assistance to cover membership fees in order to allow them to continue practicing their sport. This category is only for low income families. The amount of scholarships awarded in this category can go up to $ 2,000 per period. The number of grants will therefore vary according to the needs expressed. The athlete’s application can be submitted in only one category.

In order to be eligible for a Pat Burns Foundation scholarship, the candidate must be a resident of the Outaouais. Applications must be submitted no later than Friday May 14, 2021 at 11:59 pm.

Selection process

The Pat Burns Foundation Board of Directors will appoint an independent selection committee to review the nominations.
